Chiropractic Adjustment

Spinal joints that are out of alignment or not moving properly can affect your health by irritating delicate spinal nerves. When irritated, these nerves alert your brain that something is wrong. Symptoms, including pain, are usually the result.

At Back In Line Chiropractic we pride ourselves in using many different techniques to address the concerns of our many different patients.

Spinal Manipulation

The most common procedure performed by a chiropractor is known as "spinal manipulation," or "chiropractic adjustment." Manipulation, or adjustment of the affected areas restores motion, alleviates pain and muscle tightness, and allows tissues to heal.

Diversified Technique

The classic chiropractic technique that uses specific lines of drive for all manual thrusts. These thrusts are movements of short amplitude and high velocity that move the joint just beyond where the muscles could move the joints by themselves allowing for specificity in correcting mechanical misalignments of the spine and optimal movement and function of the spine.

Activator Technique

Corrects subluxations of the spine by using a small tool, which delivers a light and measured force. It is a gentle and painless technique that many people prefer or need a light force adjustment.

Thompson Technique

Utilizes a segmental drop table to enhance the motion force needed to adjust the vertebral segment. The drop table takes advantage of the spine's inherent design to move the subluxation in the direction that will improve the motion of the spine.
